Graphs, etc.
This site lets you type in a URL and shows you a pretty graph of it. Here’s what my site looks like:

Also, yesterday at work I found out I suck at design. Woo.
Super Mario Trombones.
This video is funny. Why is the Super Mario theme so meaningful to my generation (myself included)? Haha.
Modamuse.
I’m forcing myself not to order lots of stuff from this site. If only for figuring out the conversion rate.
Vroom, very carefully.
As promised…the new wheels. I’m so happy with this thing, although now I’m terrified of hitting or getting hit by someone. So if you see someone in a dark grey Yaris driving like a grandmother, yeah, it’s me.

Also, Big Boy got a brother this afternoon.

Not so Big Boy.
Derek bought a big boy this morning at the antique mall.

Big in name only. I think this counts as false advertising.
Six more weeks of winter.
While getting ready this morning I got a photo of Pancake’s shadow.

Cars n’ Junk.
Exciting news–I got a new car. Yes, a NEW car, not just a new to me car. It’s a Toyota Yaris, and I’m absolutely smitten with it. I’ll try to post a photo of it this weekend if we get a few moments of sun.
Also, take a peek at Koya Moments, a beautiful time-lapse video on You Tube. The shots at the end are phenomenal.

The chandelier in our dining room is, in a word, hideous. A couple weekends ago, Derek surprised me while I was in a migraine-induced haze and gussied it up a bit. The lights are plugged into the light fixture and are controlled by the dimmer switch. They put off a really nice pattern on the ceiling when turned on.
Not much else, other than keeping my fingers tightly crossed at the possibility of a new car. I’ll find out tomorrow. I can’t wait!
Too early in the morning to think of a title.
Okay, a quickie post before I run off to work…
Check out Michael Gilette’s portfolio. I’m seriously jealous of his illustrations. Makes me want to get back into doing some watercolor again.
A blog about films/videos that use splitscreen. I’m wondering how they’re finding enough to write about. Although it did give me an idea I wish I would have thought of in college…back when I had access to equipment and friends with skillz.
Sky swimming

Cell phone photos stink, but at least you get the gist. I really need to get a smaller camera to keep in my purse, but I digress. Derek and I drove to Clear Lake this afternoon since it was so pretty out and we happened across some enormous kites being flown on the still icy lake. Beautiful sea creature shaped kites, swimming in the deep blue sky. They were breathtaking.
