Arrangement.

I’ve been feeling like I’m going crazy lately. Losing my mind. So in an attempt to channel the lunacy and use it for good rather than bad, I rearranged the living room. It took me a few hours: first picking up the clutter, then moving things out of the way, then heaving many assorted pieces of Ikea furniture across the room, and finally putting everything in its new place. Sumi was simultaneously thrilled and freaked out of his mind at the new arrangement (rabbits have their own version of OCD where everything must be in its place, otherwise they will point out to you your failings to put things away). I’m not sure yet how I feel about the layout, but at least it feels less college apartmentish.

Compliment?

Someone at work today said I looked sick. What do you say to that? Uh…thanks?

See this.

I really want to post some pics I’ve taken recently, but I can’t find my cable to download them anywhere. Drat drat drat. Anyway, here’s something else. Today I ran across a website that simulates color blindness. You upload a photo and it shows what it would look like to the afflicted. Here’s what mine looked like:

Color blind!
Before

Color blind!
After

You dirty rat.

The other day I found this on my desk:

Dad rat!

No, not the stuffed rat in headphones. I had a nutter butter on my desk and someone came in and ate it. Here’s a close up of the note:

Dad rat!

I’m sure it’s not funny to anyone else but it made me giggle. Oh–and to explain: my dad and I work for the same company.

Thousand Dollar Dress.

This is probably an odd, almost stalkerish sort of thing to blog about, but I just thought it was so interesting. While looking at OffbeatBride.com, I ran across a story highlighting a massive photo project done by a girl who went to the same high school as me. I never knew her personally or anything, but I just thought her project sounded so interesting. It’s called Thousand Dollar Dress, and her goal is to take photos of 1000 women wearing her wedding dress. There are some very striking images. I especially liked the ones of my middle school friend, Jenny. If I knew how to get ahold of her, I’d let her know she looked absolutely beautiful.

Strange that I found this site as Derek and I were contemplating calling off the ceremony part of the wedding and doing something less expensive.

If you create a roadkill…

As seen on Adfreak, you, too, can have Gary Busey’s voice on your car’s GPS. I’d probably just get spooked while driving due to picturing those enormous teeth.
