It’s about damn time

It’s official. “We’re married!” as I keep yelling loudly (and yes, I’ve got to admit, rather obnoxiously) at Derek in various voices.

We’re married!

The wedding went beautifully, despite the midwest landlocked version of a tsunami in the morning. Amazingly the sky cleared and we were able to have the reception outside as planned. All the technical kinks got straightened out just in time for the ceremony. I couldn’t have asked for a better day.

Rings!

The adventures of Mr. Fly

I haven’t posted in awhile, but this was too good to pass up:

Fly!

It’s from a photo essay by Nicholas Hendrickx. Information can be found here.

And now, I have officially seen everything.

For your viewing pleasure: surfing rats!

Adventure on an ironically-named lake

I actually broke out the camera for the first time in months and took some photos of one of my coworkers and his friends while they were wakeboarding on (not very clear) Clear Lake. Here’s a couple:

Wakeboarding! Wakeboarding!

I added some more to my flickr account. Go here to check ‘em out. Derek came along to shoot photos, too. I was so unsteady on the boat the entire time–I’m definitely made for land. Still fun, though.
