My favorite thing about the holidays

Cuties! They’re tasty, easy to peel, healthy and the small size is adorable. And at $5 for a crate, they make a great addition to the work holiday pot-luck. The only time invested is picking them up from the store, and they’re great for cleansing the palette while getting overloaded by homemade sugary treats.

However, I’m definitely missing the Darling Clementines I used to buy (I haven’t seen them in North Iowa for a couple years). Not just for the name, but they also came in a wooden crate that you could reuse if you didn’t let the last few Clementines go bad.
