Inspiration hits
My buddy Cat asked me to make some more cards for the coffee shop. The top two are made from a recycled paper “library card” and images from a first aid book from the 70s. The bottom two have origami paper from my stash. Rather than use a plastic sleeve to keep the card and envelope together, I used an odd-shaped paper clip to keep everything recycled/reusable. I’m also thinking of experimenting with block printing on them. Think I should make more like these?

Photo Booth stupidity
Bored and stuck at home today recovering…so I messed about with Photo Booth on the Macbook. Enjoy.
Start of a collection

I’ve been looking for an old medical supply jar for years and finally found one yesterday at my favorite antique store in Clear Lake. There were two others there, too, which I plan to go back for soon. Hopefully no one will grab them up in the meantime! I plan to keep office supplies in them in the home office. I’ll take a photo as soon as I get everything set up.
The amazing octoscrubber!
It’s an octopus-shaped dish scrubber I just bought at Target. It was too cute not to buy! *shakes head in disbelief* I’m such a girl sometimes.
The Pokladniks
My dad gave me a dvd full of family photos from the 1950s, scanned in by my uncle Jim. Looking at them, some made me laugh, some made me cry. I love the timelessness of them. Here are some of my favorites.
