I can hardly believe it’s been a year already. It has seemed like a long time, yet seems to have passed in a heartbeat. I’m looking forward to seeing what the next year will bring.

From the first bank robbery re-enactment at the Great River City Festival. There will still be shows at 3pm and 5pm, so definitely stop by if you’re in the area! I’ll be doing more shooting (photos!) of my own.

I’ve been doing a lot of thrifting lately, and I finally pushed myself to get some things added to my Etsy site.

Thanks, Dustin, for the comment about Pancake. It’s been way too quiet in our place since she’s been gone. Crazy how such a little thing can have such a big impact. Big hugs to you guys, too.
The rest of the day’s going to be spent doing what I can to finish up a design job for the Mason City Downtown Association. I’m hoping to wrap this thing up soon. It’ll be good to see the booklet in its completed form. Tell me to get started and quit stalling.

The Decemberists O Valencia! is strangely comforting to me, wafting out of my headphones on repeat.
I’m not looking forward to leaving work, for about the first time ever, when I have to turn off said headphones and make my way to the vet’s office to pick up my dear ratty.
Home is going to feel a bit quieter without her.
Hoping for the best
Pancake, our sweet little ratty is having health problems tonight. Her intestines are poking out, and I feel terrible about this. We have no idea how or why this happened. Luckily she doesn’t appear to be in pain. The poor girl is such a trooper. Derek and I are taking her to the vet in the morning. Fingers crossed it turns out okay. Wish us luck.
